Guest blogger, Bob’s other half here. The other day, one of his followers commented how cool it was for Bob to be out there hiking around with Angus and sometimes the kid. Whoa…what about me!? Being behind the scenes with video camera in one hand, and regular camera in the other, I’ve experienced 99.9% of the action. Sometimes, after stopping to take still footage, I’ve had to run full speed up hill to catch up to Bob and Angus. Yes, that’s me doing all that huffing and puffing in the video clips trying to get a shot of the shot. It’s easy to forget that someone else is also experiencing all those steep hills, beautiful scenery, and wonderful moments. These are some of my favorite photos. Enjoy.

Beautiful pictures.I also forgot to give you credit for following along with camera. My wife goes along bird hunting in Alaska until it gets too cold then I have to go it alone. I really like the picture in the field of sage brush with the sun coming up. Keep up the good work. We do appreciate you.

Thanks for the nice comments. Steep country is one of my top three favorites. Besides the exercise, and loving to watch Angus, my main reason for going is be there for Bob in case of an accident…which he had two years ago when he was hunting alone and had to crawl two hours on his butt to the pick-up.

Great stuff, thanks for the photos. Like virtual vicarious hunting! That weed is star thistle, a terrible terrible invasive pointy prickly plant that plagues people. Pull it out next time.
Thanks for the weed info. Interesting to look at but I hate those prickly ones also, especially the ones that stick to dog fur like Velcro.
