Chukar Culture is a blog and literary press operated by Bob McMichael. The site contains written content, videos, and an online store selling books published by Chukar Culture Press. All content on this site is the intellectual property of Bob McMichael unless otherwise noted.

4. Book orders and purchases
All book orders are subject to the following:
– Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice
– Orders are fulfilled by Lulu Press on a print-on-demand basis
– We do not stock physical inventory — each book is printed when ordered
– Shipping times vary depending on your location and Lulu’s production schedule, typically 5–14 business days
– International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer
5. Returns and refunds
Because our books are printed on demand, we are unable to accept returns for buyer’s remorse. However:
– If your book arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days at chukarculture@gmail.com with a photo and we will arrange a replacement or refund
– If your order is lost in transit, contact us and we will investigate with Lulu and arrange a resolution
Refunds for eligible claims are processed via Stripe to your original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.
6. Blog content and comments
The views expressed in blog posts are those of the author. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties about the completeness or reliability of any information on this site.
Comments (if enabled) are the responsibility of their authors. We reserve the right to remove any comment that is offensive, spam, or otherwise inappropriate.
