  1. Great stuff Bob. Congrats on your move. My summer was the pits. Spent the summer rehabbing Riley’s broken leg and then a blood clot took him from us. We did everything together for the last three years and Barb and I were devastated. It was the toughest thing I have ever faced but my 8 month old GSP Jake and I are hoping to see you and Angus on the hill some day. Keep up the great blog. It’s great to see others who appreciate their canine partners as much as I do.

  2. Hi Larry, thanks for your comment. I’d seen your post about Riley, and meant to write. So very sorry. I can imagine the devastation. It’s wonderful you have Jake to help soften the blow even though nothing really soothes that pain but time. I wanted to share something with you about Angus: I play the bagpipes and my teacher (one of the top players in the world) saw a video of me and Angus hunting and wrote a tune about him; here’s the private link to that video, which my wife took goofing around with our new video camera for chukar season – you can see Angus doesn’t mind the sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZntq5GOzMU.
Any time you want to head up this way and join us please let me know. I’d love to meet you guys.
